Client calls that stay confidential.
Zolash is a local-first AI notetaker for lawyers: it records, transcribes, and summarises client calls entirely on your device, with no bot joining the meeting. Your confidential conversations never leave your machine and never reach us — so you get a clean, reliable record without handing sensitive client matters to a vendor’s cloud.
Available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Nothing uploaded.
The stakes
Confidential conversations can’t become someone else’s cloud data.
Client calls carry information you’re expected to keep confidential. Most AI notetakers send your recording, transcript, and summary to their servers to process — quietly turning a privileged conversation into data held by a third party. For legal work, that exposure is the whole problem.
- Client conversations are confidential and shouldn’t sit on a vendor’s servers
- A bot in the room signals a third party is listening in on the call
- You need a clear record — decisions, commitments, next steps — without the exposure
No bot on the call
Nothing joins the room your client is speaking to.
Zolash captures your computer's own audio, so no notetaking bot appears in the meeting and nothing signals a third party is listening. For a confidential client call, that difference matters — the room is exactly who you invited, and the recording is written straight to your machine.
A clean record, on your terms
Summaries and transcripts you can rely on — and keep.
Every call becomes a structured summary with decisions, commitments, and follow-ups, backed by a full, speaker-labelled transcript. Everything is a local file you own, so your record of a matter stays under your control rather than in someone else’s cloud.
Confidential by architecture
Because it never leaves your device, there’s nothing to expose.
Zolash keeps meeting content on your machine and never transmits it to us or anyone else. There’s no cloud copy of a client call to be breached, subpoenaed from a vendor, or used to train a model. We state plainly what we can guarantee — data stays local, nothing is uploaded, we never receive it — and leave you to map it to your own professional obligations.
A day with Zolash
From client call to clean file notes — without the cloud.
You take a client call from your laptop. Zolash records it locally, no bot in sight. The moment you hang up, you have a structured summary — the client’s instructions, the advice given, the next steps — alongside a full transcript you can correct in a click. You file it, and it lives as a local document you control. Nothing about that conversation ever touched an outside server.
The features that matter here
Built on what you need most.
Questions, answered.
Are my client calls uploaded anywhere?
No. The recording, transcript, summary, and AI all run on your device. Your client conversations are never uploaded to us or any third party — there is no cloud copy of a call.
Can I keep matters separate and delete them myself?
Yes. Each meeting is a local file you own, so you organise and delete them directly. When you remove a file, it’s gone — there’s no server-side copy for us to retain.
Does a bot show up on the call?
No. Zolash records from your own computer, so nothing joins the meeting and nothing appears in the participant list. We still recommend telling participants the call is being recorded and following the consent rules where you practise.
Is Zolash suitable for confidential legal work?
We make architectural guarantees rather than certifications: because meeting content never leaves your device and never reaches us, there’s no vendor copy to expose. Many professionals with strict confidentiality needs use that as the basis for their own assessment against the obligations that apply to them.
