Sensitive conversations stay on your device.
Zolash is a local-first AI notetaker for healthcare: it transcribes and summarises conversations entirely on your device, with no bot in the room. Sensitive patient conversations are never uploaded and never reach us — so you can stay present and still have accurate notes, without sending the most personal conversations to a vendor’s cloud.
Available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Nothing uploaded.
The stakes
Patient conversations shouldn’t become someone else’s cloud data.
Conversations in a care setting are among the most sensitive there are. Most AI notetakers send your recording, transcript, and summary to their servers to process — moving deeply personal information off your control and into a third party’s cloud. That exposure is exactly what sensitive work can’t accept.
- Patient conversations are sensitive and shouldn’t sit on a vendor’s servers
- A bot joining the visit is intrusive and signals an outside listener
- You need accurate notes without spending the visit typing
Present with the patient
Listen to the person, not the keyboard.
Zolash records from your computer and writes the notes, so you can focus on the conversation in front of you. Afterwards you have a speaker-labelled transcript and a structured summary, generated on your device and ready to review.
No bot, nothing uploaded
The conversation stays on your device.
Nothing joins the visit, and no recording leaves your machine to be transcribed or summarised. Your notes are local files you own — never uploaded to a service and never seen by us — so the most sensitive conversations stay under your control.
Confidential by architecture
Nothing to expose, because nothing leaves your device.
Zolash keeps conversation content on your machine and never transmits it to us or a third party. There’s no cloud copy to be breached or repurposed, and nothing is ever used to train a model. We state plainly what we can guarantee — data stays local, nothing is uploaded, we never receive it — and make no certification or regulatory-compliance claims, leaving you to map the architecture to the requirements that apply to your practice.
A day with Zolash
Undivided attention, accurate notes after.
You sit with a patient and give them your full attention — no laptop in the way, no bot in the room. Zolash records quietly from your computer. When you’re done, you have a speaker-labelled transcript and a structured summary you can turn into your notes, stored as a local file only you can open. The conversation stays where it should: with you.
The features that matter here
Built on what you need most.
Questions, answered.
Are patient conversations uploaded anywhere?
No. Recording, transcription, and summaries all run on your device. Patient conversations are never uploaded to us or a third party — there is no cloud copy of a visit.
Does a bot join the visit?
No. Zolash records from your own computer, so nothing joins the room or appears in a participant list. We recommend informing patients that the conversation is being recorded and following the consent rules that apply to you.
Can I control and delete these records?
Yes. Notes are local files you own — you can edit them and delete them entirely. When you delete a record, there’s no server-side copy left with us.
Is Zolash appropriate for sensitive patient conversations?
We make architectural guarantees, not certifications or regulatory claims: because conversation content never leaves your device and never reaches us, there’s no vendor copy to expose. Many practitioners with strict confidentiality needs use that as the basis for their own assessment against the requirements that apply to them.
